Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) ended a long day promoting her new new album "Can't Be Tamed" here at Music 4. Multi-platinum selling Miley was at Music 4 for various radio and television interviews. In between she also had a little play on our new iPad which arrived her first thing Friday morning!
This is the second visit to Music 4 Studios and we're sure she'll be back again.
Her latest CD “Can’t Be Tamed,” is released later this month.
Supersize Teens: Can't Stop Eating aired last night (1st June) on ITV1. Music 4 Studios recorded the narration for the programme and provided the final mix.
Can't Stop Eating, narrated by television drama star Lesley Sharp, is the story of two morbidly obese American teenage girls who underwent life threatening gastric bypass and gastric band operations in a bid to lose weight.
This is the latest in a series of shows surrounding the issues of obesity to pass through our studios. We love working on these shows but always feel slightly guilty when we start passing around huge plates of biscuits during the sessions!
It's been a good day for 'star spotting' here at Music 4 Studios with visits from the legendary Robert Vaughn and Eamonn Holmes. We recorded Eamonn's interview with Robert, who talked about his life in film and television for Eamonn's radio show currently in production.
Bear Sanctuary was narrated by film, television and stage star Kenneth Cranham, who visited Music 4 Studios to record his narration. The final mixes were also undertaken by our engineers.
Bear Sanctuary is the story of captive bears in Romania living in terrible conditions. The programmes show how they are given hope and freedom by the bear sanctuary in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains.
We are delighted to enhance our Discovery portfolio with this great show, which aired for the first time on Nov 27th (Animal Planet).

Don't worry...we haven't started flogging DVD's but we can highly recommend Faithless Live in Moscow, Bill Bailey's Tinselworm and Tim Minchin’s “So F**king Rock Live”... not only are they all fab, they were all mixed by Music 4 Studios! Faithless returned to Russia after a 4 year hiatus to perform for the 1st time with a full orchestra. We received the multi-track recordings which includes famous hits such as Insomnia, God is a DJ, Mass Destruction, I Want More and We Come 1 and created the final mix for the 5.1 DVD release, “Faithless Live in Moscow”. Sister Bliss from the band attended many of the mixing sessions and was delighted with the results.
Bill Bailey's 'Tinselworm' was the inaugural 5.1 project mixed in our newest studio (Studio 2) and this was quickly followed by a 5.1 mix for Australian musician, actor, comedian and writer Tim Minchin for his latest DVD release, “So F**king Rock Live”. We also created the stereo mix for international television broadcast.
(Be warned...the Tim Minchin DVD contains very strong language and is not for the easily offended!)
Music 4's brand new studio (Studio 2) has completed its inaugural project for top comedian Bill Bailey creating a 5.1 and stereo mix for his forthcoming live DVD "Tinselworm"...
The UK leg of Bill's tour enjoyed 3 sell-out nights at the MEN Arena in Manchester, Europe's largest indoor arena and culminated with a sell-out performance at Wembley Arena which is featured in this DVD.
Bill Bailey is a comedian, musician and actor most well known for live shows Bewilderness and Part Troll, and his work on television in programmes such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Black Books.
The project was easily handled by the new studio and took full advantage of our brand new SSL AWS900+ mixing console and TC M6000 5.1 mastering system.
