Music 4 Studios recently worked on the music mix and TV mix for Channel 4's coverage of 'Bestival'.

Our engineers (and studios) are unique in the fact they are equally at home working on TV mixes/dubs and mixing and mastering music to world class standards, so when both skills are required, Music 4 Studios is the perfect choice!

We received multitrack recordings of each and every performance and mixed these first. We then also created the final mix and dub of the finished TV shows on a very tight deadline.

The 2008 festival, featuring My Bloody Valentine, Amy Winehouse, Underworld, Aphex Twin, CSS, and Hot Chip, was a weekend of eclectic music, eccentric people and plenty of fancy dress, set in the grounds of Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight.

Bestival has been held annually in the late summer since 2004. The event is organized by BBC Radio 1’s Rob da Bank, who handpicks the line-up so fans can watch anything from international superstars to the complete unknown. Over 400 live acts, DJs and comedians perform over the weekend spread over eight tents and stages.
